The government of the state of Lagos has demolished the large fish statue at Abraham Adesanya Round About, Ajah.
The loss of the status caused a mixed reaction on social media as some state residents were glad to see the big catfish leave because that particular roundabout generates a lot of traffic on the road.
Some other users complained that the removal will prove some difficulties to road users as they may not be able to identify their destination on time as the big catfish statue was a major landmark.
*** “Ok so seeing the Abraham Adesanya Roundabout Giant Cat Fish going down today brought some missed feelings ..Yrs of waking up and seeing the fish, using it as a major landmark has been interesting
**** Guess its time it goes back to the waters” says @freeze4real.
***No one was as excited as I was this afternoon seeing all those trucks that came to remove the fish. I have lost many man hours as a result of the traffic at that roundabout. Am very happy to see the fish go for good” says @anime41419755.
